Unable to connect Apple Music through S1 App

Ive moved house and had to re set my system up with a new router.  Everything has worked ok wish until I try and link my Apple Music subscription.  When I attempt to link I either get a message saying “There has been a problem, try later”. or I get a message saying “error please ensure you've updated to the lates version of the Apple Music app”

Things I’ve tried:-

  • Updating IOS
  • Deleting Apple Music and reinstalling
  • Deleting sonos and re setting up the system again
  • Resetting each speaker

I’d try a reboot of the router as well.

But that’s a guess, mind you. At the end of the day, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, there are more options available beyond just the diagnostic analysis.
