two speaker circuits with one Sonos amp and a volume control

I have a Sonos Amp that I'd like to have 2 speaker circuits connect to. One speaker circuit also has an analog volume control. Are there any concerns about doing this that I should be aware of?

I also have another Sonos amp which I’d like to connect to two speakers circuits, each with individual analog volume controls.

I don’t think you’ll have any problems - I’ve heard of multiple users utilising analogue volume controls with their Sonos Amps. I can’t guarantee anything, of course - it would depend on those devices, and correct wiring.

I hope this helps.

If you have a multi-meter you could check the resistance [Ohms] of the speakers. Disconnect from the Amp, clip the meter to the plus/minus wires and look at the reading while manipulating the volume controls. As long as it stays above 4 Ohms you are likely good.
