Hello, I already have one Sonos Amp (located indoors) powering the outdoor Sonos Speakers on my deck.  Now I am interested in having a separate Sonos Amp connected to different outdoor Sonos Speakers by my outdoor pool.  So I have two questions -

(1) Can I have two separate Sonos Amps on the same Wifi network, and use them independently?

(2) Is it OK to have a Sonos Amp outdoors if I store it in some type of sealed enclosure?

  1. yes, you can have up to 32 Sonos devices on your network. You can group them if you ever so desire in the Sonos software, but use them separately as desired. 
     
  2. OK? Define what you mean 😉 It should work, but I suspect it breaks the Sonos warranty. But I wouldn’t skimp on that enclosure.
