Trying to split my existing system

Hi all can't find anything online about what I'm trying to achieve so I thought I'd reach out here.

I have a Arc, sub gen 3 and two play ones acting as surrounds in my living room which is all great but in the summer I'd like to take my sub and two play ones out in the garden to play music and not involve the arc.

I'm trying to replicate this set up in my living room but the arc keeps butting in,if I unplug power to the arc everything else is greyed out on the app which is what I'd  imagine would happen if I physically moved out to the garden being on the same WiFi and all.

Any can or can nots would be much appreciated .Even if I could set up a different Sonos account on a tablet/phone but using the same WiFi would be something.

Thanks in advance

Have you removed the Sub and surrounds from the Arc in the Sonos app first?

Hi,yes did think if that but not tried it due to being worried about going through the whole set up every time I wanted to move it.

I've got the trueplay tuned up as well so didn't want lose that everytime also.

Strange that it would give me the option to remove sub etc but not the arc.

If you want to use your Play:1s and Sub separately from the Arc, you have to remove them from the Arc in the Sonos app first. This is your only option.

Ok,then will I have to set up a separate "system" for the garden and when I bring them back in they'll rejoin my "living room" system without any trueplay set up.

Or will I have to do a new setup everytime.

Thanks for this by the way

New set up including Trueplay is needed every time you bond an unbond an existing set up.

After you remove the Sub and Play:1s from the Arc, you will create a new “room” for your garden and pair the Play:1s as a stereo pair and then add the Sub. You’ll then have to perform Trueplay since your speakers are in a completely different setup.

When you move those speakers back to your living room, you’ll have to remove the Sub from the Play:1s, unpair them as a stereo pair and re-add the Sub and Play:1s to the Arc. And Trueplay will have to be performed again.
