My 100% S1 Sonos installation cannot play songs from Spotify anymore. Playing directly from Spotify app works fine, so not network/firewall/internet issues, but when I try the same via Sonos app, I get “unable to play XYZ - connect op Spotify was lost”. Also Spotify connect does nog work via Sonos speakers. I already reauthorised Spotify service and even removed and re-added spotify service again to Sonos system … no luck … nog music via Spotify … one of the main sources for playing music for my family … what could be wrong?

I am expriencing the exact same issue.

I also removed and re-added spotify service, to no avail.

This morning it was working again. Tried on 2 play:1 speakers, different playlists from spotify and worked both times. I guess spotify servers were overloaded yesterday evening … will continue to follow up.


Same issue here, and the app is saying ‘Spotifty is experiencing a partial outage’ 

I see a few people on Twitter reporting the same issue this morning.
