Hi,

I’ve got a Connect:AMP that powers on but will only output audio for a few minutes before the audio cuts out and goes into fault (orange white flash) mode.

I’ve opened up the AMP and taken a look for any blown fuses or capacitors, none of which I can see.

I suspect the issue lies on the logic board itself.

Could anyone suggest where I should begin with diagnosing the logic board to resolve this issue?

Ive attached some images of the AMP in this post.

Thanks

For any aging board, a very careful visual inspection is often very productive.

Does the unit go into protection without any speakers connected?

Hi Buzz,

By protection, are you referring to the orange white led status? If so, yes it does.

i have visually inspected all boards and see no blown components.

Here are some status light details.

Visually, check for cracked pads and bad solder joints. As I view your images, I’m undecided if there is evidence of liquid contamination near the rear edge of the boards.
