I have a sonos connect that I have used for several years through a reciever.  I have it connected to one of the audio inputs.  Strangely it stopped playing.  I tried a reset several times by unplugging and that did nothing.  I tried a harder reset of the device and than re-added it to my system.  Great. It worked.  But only for about an hour.  Then no sound again. It sits right next to my wifi router. So it gets plenty of signal.  Because it played after the reset, I know it's not the cables.  Any suggestions?

Talking to Sonos support seems appropriate for a repeating fault like this.

Hi, yes, I got the same issue, happend for the 3rd time now during the last few weeks. The Sonos:Connect is from 2007, so very old. I’ve unplugged it for half an hour or so and then suddenly it comes back alive. But not for long…. No red light blinking, it’s just off, or very weakly showing a fast blinking white light.

The previous advice still stands.

HI Rob,

I eventually discovered that replacing my amplifier did the trick. I do not think it was an issue with the SONOS equipment.
