Sonos Beam 2 mounting options

purchased and set up a sonos beam gen 2 - no issues and quality sounds.

Next dilemma is permanent mounting position.

common sense is telling me to purchase a sanus WSSBM1 bracket for mounting direct to tv.

would prefer sonos wall mount bracket so expert advice from the community is needed.

bottom of tv is 12cm from wall, if the beam was mounted underneath, would this have an impact on sound quality (assume height audio ‘could’ be affected)

Help appreciated

The Beam has no upward firing speakers, unlike the Arc. So probably less impact on any ‘height audio’.

Why do you prefer the wall mount?

I’d think having the Beam 12 CM behind the TV would make using the controls a bit frustrating.

As long as the Beam ends up 5 CM or more below the TV’s bottom edge and it is clear to both sides I’d not expect sound issues.

I have all my Beams mounted ahead of the TVs, far enough that the buttons are an easy reach. I do play a good bit of music on them so it is really handy.
