i looked online, but can anyone suggest the crossover frequency in the sonos amp with a sub when the architctural speakers are detected? the default is 80 but those speakers appear to go below 50.

It isn't how far down the primary speakers go, it is what point you get the best sound by redirecting lower frequencies to the Sub.
My old AVR and sub setup had main speakers good to about 60 Hz but they sounded better, particularly when playing loud, if I set the crossover to 120 HD.
It isn't a difficult task to select a good test track and try various settings to see what sounds best. Asking someone to suggest a setting is a bit like asking them how much sugar to add to your drink. Your taste, not theirs is important.
