I recently bought a used connect 2. When I connect it to my wired network. Sonos app s1 detects it but tells me to use Sonos app v2. However in sonos app v2 doesn’t detect the device. I tried factory reset (press play and up button while powering up) it flashed amber for a few second and then go green. Did I miss something? Did the previous owner forget to transfer ownership or something?

If your Connect (gen 2) has been reset, the previous owner transferring ownership or not does not matter.
