Hi everyone, I have a problem - I reset the Sonos Amp to factory settings and reconnected it to my Sonos system. I have it connected via LAN, but the Ethernet connection always disconnects and the Amp connects via Wi-Fi. When I return the connection via LAN in the app settings, after about a minute it disconnects and reconnects to Wi-Fi...and so on....Is there any way to fix this? The other Sonos devices are only connected via Wi-Fi....could this be related? The router and network work fine.

If you connect the Amp to Ethernet, then by default it will enable Sonosnet and pull your other Sonosnet capable devices off your wifi. You can disable the internal radio to avoid that if the Amp sees a stable Ethernet link.

If the Amp is connected to an Ethernet cable but isn't showing an Ethernet connection I would suspect a cabling issue. As a test move it close to the router and use a different, and short, cable to connect it.

Thanks for the reply... I'll try connecting directly to the router with a short cable. The strange thing is that everything worked before the reset...

One of the many reasons Sonos tells you not to factory reset unless support tells you to. Either when talking to them or in a support article here.

So fixed....the ethernet connection is working now. I turned off the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, connected the cable and unplugged it for a while...
