Sonance 8.2 landscape series and two zone setup

I am installing the 8.2 landscape series Sonance system. I am trying to figure out how to zone out the gazebo area with 2 6/12 70W satellite and one 300W subwoofer. I’d like to be able to quite the main zone and use zone 2 for the gazebo area louder than the other zone.

While the 2-channel amp provided can handle the entire system, is there a way to separate zones with this?  Or do I need another amp for the other zone. Lastly, would a Sonos amp be able to handle the power of the 2 70W sat and 300W sub?

Thanks for the advice!

Separate zones (Sonos calls these Rooms) you need two Amps.

Same music on two sets of speakers, you need a speaker selector and one Amp. A fancier switch might provide volume control.

Note that a SONOS AMP supports the SONOS SUB or 3rd party subwoofers that include their own amplifier. I don’t recommend using subwoofers that connect in place of regular speakers and have terminals for connecting the regular L/R speakers.
