reviving old s1 connect

I’m resurrecting my old vinyl deck and an old s1 connect. Rest of my system is in s2. So I downloaded s1 app but there is no option to start a s1 system by adding a product just options to S2.  Any thoughts?  Thanks

For the initial setup it may be easier to wire the Connect to your router.

If you reset the S1 app (System > App preferences > Reset app) on reopening you should see an option to setup new system.

Decided to upgrade to a Port - expensive but ….

It’s possible that as the Connect hadn’t been used for a while you may have needed the help from Sonos Support to get the firmware updated. The Connect is also susceptible to some issues that can result in it failing.

Did you use the Upgrade credit that would likely be available on your Connect?

yes thanks Mr T - duly claimed.
