Problem with solder on a ZP90 power board?

I've disassembled my Sonos ZP90 ZonePlayer to replace some capacitors on the power board that I believe are preventing it from powering on. However, when I got inside and inspected the board more closely, I spotted a couple of things I'd like to get some advice on. The red circles show where some solder has bridged between some components. Is this intentional? Would this be enough to stop it working? Can anyone check their power board to see if they have the same? On the left, the three pins are for a TLV43 transistor.

Thanks

While soldered connections can breakdown with age, new traces will not be created. To me the PC board looks like it could use a cleaning.

Thanks @buzz. I understand new traces can’t be created, so I’m thinking - was this a mistake made in the factory when it was put together? The seal was still intact when I opened it, so no one has been in here before, and I’ve not done any soldering on it (yet!).

I’m wondering if I should use my iron to “unlink” these components?

Before you get started  modifying things check the actual traces and see if the poinis aren't connected and the solder just a sloppy reflow job. Either too much solder or poor masking causing the buildup, not causing bridging of unrelated circuits.

Sure, you could check for a trace under what looks like a solder bridge, but I don’t know why any related issues suddenly began after all these years. There is also a very low possibility that the bridges corrected a board design or fabrication issue.

First, I’d clean the board, then check voltages. You may be able to find some DIY discussions.
