Just connected new Project turntable to amp with new cables it shipped with and sound quality is scratchy sounding and bad. Previously used a turntable with an older Sonos system and it sounded perfectly fine. Any suggestions?

Is the phono preamp turned on?
Also perhaps raise the ‘source-level’ option in the Ports ‘Room’ settings in ‘Settings/System’ - it defaults to Level 2 (A/V Component), but setting it higher, to say 8 or above will increase the volume.
If you get any distortion at full volume, just lower the level slightly.
