Port not connecting to EERO Mesh

I just bought the Port system.  I connected it to my wifi just fine.  Then about a week later I bought the EERO Mesh system as the wifi in my house needed help.  I found that if my phone was connected to the Mesh it would not run the Sonos, so I would have to change the wifi on my phone.  This seemed silly so I decided to update the network on my Port to the Mesh.  However, it won’t work.   I can see that the Mesh sees the Port when on Ethernet, but nothing will work to acdtually switch the Port over to the Mesh system.  I’ve restarted,  i’ve factory reset but nothing.  Any suggestions or is the port not compatable?

Do you have a modem/router combo from your ISP? If so, is it still set up as a router?

This would mean you technically have two networks that is creating a double NAT.

You would need to place the ISPs device into bridge or passthrough mode depending on the make. Then you will only have the Eero doing router duties. You would also have to remove anything else that is plugged into the ISPs device over to the Eero.

Another solution would be to configure the Eeros to bridge mode, where they will act as access points instead of creating a new network.

Stop with the Factory Resets. they rarely solve anything. Save them for when Support says to do one.

Check your new mesh’s WiFi settings.
