Play 5 volume control erratic

Hi,

 

I have 2 x Play 5’s and a sub. If i try and turn the volume up or down quickly on either of the play 5’s, the sound goes off and you have to turn it back up really slowly or it goes off again. 

System is up to date, I've unplugged them and the router countless times and it still happens. It does it 75% of the time so is getting frustrating. 

Any ideas?

Are you using an iPad for control? I notice a similar dynamic on another iPad App that has no connection with SONOS. I must slow down my strokes then pause at my desired setting or slider operation is erratic.
