Question

Outdoor Speaker Volume Control + Independent Volume Control for 2 Dual-Channel Speakers Connected to AMP

I am currently designing two spaces -- outdoor pool and patio + my primary ensuite.

Patio:
I’m planning to use an sonos AMP with 4 Polk Atrium 5 Outdoor Speakers. I’d like to have an outdoor volume control. Is this possible? Is so, thoughts on how to do this?

Primary Bathroom:

We have a large L shaped bathroom. I’m planning to have one dual channel Polk RC6 in the large walk in shower and another single dual channel polk RC 6 above the vanity. I’d like to potentially connect these to a single AMP but have in-wall independent volume control for each speaker--allowing me to listen to music/morning news in the shower and not wake my partner in bed. :) Thoughts on how to best accomplish this without buying an AMP for each single speaker?

Thanks!

Search for “Outdoor Volume Control”.

I strongly suggest that you use dual channel speakers in both Bathroom locations. You can then use stereo Volume controls for each speaker. I don’t recommend mounting a Volume control inside the shower.
