You need to be more respectful of other members opinions. @Schlumpf has been a member since 2020. I believe that trumps your 2025 and 2024 memberships by 5 and 4 years respectively.

Can you explain what member date has to do with this?

Re-read your comments and those of @Schlumpf . If you don’t get the point….then I can’t help you. I’m out.

Hmm… actually I went through all the bad times last year. But I didn't get stuck there at some point with frustration, but realized that things improved and today Sonos app and firmware for me are back on a quite usable standard. 😎

And please… to be fair, let me share my experiences as well as you like to do yourself. 😉

You called my fair comment “bashing” so abide by your own advice.

Where I did so? I didn't respond to you using the word “bashing” at all. I used it in my comment to another users post above as you can see. And the reason was that the user told others they can expect a very long lasting fix time just because this might have been the case in the past. So sorry, I'm not a native speaker but my understanding of “bashing” exactly is that, when you blame someone without any facts about the current situation. So I'm sorry if I might have used the wrong wording for what I wanted to say.

Are you a first time owner this year?  Were you not here last year lol.  What a dumb statement.

Dumb indeed. Needs to share some of that cool aid with the rest of us

A dumb comment is a dumb comment whether it was made by someone that’s been around here for 1 year or 10.   I fail to see what the duration of board membership has anything to do with anything.  Half of my Sonos devices were bricked for months and half the features I used regularly were removed.  It took like 8+ months for everything to finally resolve itself.   At this point forgive me if I fail to believe anything will be fixed in a timely manner.   Judging by the stock price of the company since the  App / OS redesign people agree with me here and generally aren’t on your side.

I just want to share that today’s update fixed this issue for me. I was now able to detect and TruePlay my in-ceiling speakers.

Same issue here. 3 pairs of Sonos architectural speakers and 3 Sonos amps purchased direct from Sonos.  New wiring, no splices.  Called Sonos today 5/13/25.  Was told it’s a known software issue and it’s unknown when it will be resolved.
