I have an entirely new Sonos system throughout my home and have the black Sonos amps in one room I want to use my old S1 subwoofer would these two be compatible?

I assume you mean Sub (Gen1). The Amp is compatible with it. Click the link for compatibility between Sonos product generations and compatibility with the S1 and/or S2 controller app.

+18There is no “S1 subwoofer”. There three generations of the Sonos Sub of which the first two are both S1 and S2 capable - as is the Amp. See https://support.sonos.com/en/article/sonos-s2-compatibility. So you can use your Sub with a new Amp.
You’d possibly have to downgrade the new Amp to S1 or you need to upgrade the Sub to S2.
Sorry yes it’s a Gen1 subwoofer and I’d like to connect it too my black new Sonos amp and I’d like to use the newer app
