After the latest update today I can not end a session started from Spotify. On one of my speakers it reads session started from Spotify. I used to be able to click on the speaker and then click end session started from Spotify. Now when I click the speaker it simply goes to Spotify app.

Ending Spotify session still works for me.
Have you tried restarting speaker/router/device? Sometimes that can solve an issue after an update.
I’ll give it a go.
My wife uses a iPhone se2020 which works. I’m using an iPhone XR but doesn’t.

For me it works like this:
If I click “Started from Spotify” the Spotify app opens.
If I click above “Started from Spotify” on the track/artist name it stays in the Sonos app.
I use IPhone 13, IPhone 7, IPad Air 2 and IPad Air 2020, latest update iOS/IPadOS/Sonos/Spotify.
