Issues with one Sonos Device fading in and out, but not another

My upstairs device that is connected with a cable directly to my router is having intermittent issues fading in and out, whereas my downstairs device that is on wireless is not experiencing the same issue while the same music is playing on both.

I have Diagnostic code of : 2040040496

Try unplugging the upstairs device from power for a couple of minutes and reboot your router.

This was already done yesterday, both the router and the upstairs device, to see if it would resolve this issue that has been ongoing for weeks now. It did not.
