is a Boost Compatible with a connect amp?

Hi,

I have had a Sonos system for around 13 years, I use a Bridge and have 2 Connect Amps. The speakers are ceiling mounted and wired directly to the Amps. (The speakers are not Sonos).

the system has always worked well however the Bridge has recently stopped powering up. So, I have purchased a Boost as thought this would be a suitable replacement. However I’m having issues connecting the Boost to the Amos as the Boost wants to use the Sonos S2 app and the Amps S1.

should they be compatible or am I flogging a dead horse?? I don’t really want to shell out for 2 new amps as they are perfectly fine.

thanks
