Importing Itunes xml playlists stored on NAS

First time here.

I have tried to sort through all of the posts and comments on this.

Still cannot seem to figure out how to get my playlists, which I exported individually from ITunes in individual XML, and placed them into my NAS MyCloud file which has all of the the music.

Music moved seamlessly into and is accessible on the NAS.  For some reason though the XML files will not import.

Does anyone have any step by step for idiots guide?

Hi @kenworth2347

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Unfortunately, I can’t make you a reliable step-by-step guide as I don’t have access to a Mac. Someone in the community may be able to help, however.

What I can do is ask you if the file is named thus: “iTunes Music Library.xml”? If not, please make sure it is.

Please also place it in the path pointed to by the Sonos app in the Music Library Settings and make sure it (and the whole folder) has read/write permissions for the account on the NAS that Sonos uses for access.

I hope this helps.
