A single A7 can support up to three stereo zones. You will need a PORT for each zone. Don’t strap the PORT’s 12V triggers together, you’ll need an isolation resistor or diode for each PORT.

Which Emotiva Amp are you asking about? How are you trying to use it? Does it have a tape loop on it?
Generally speaking, a Sonos Port is connected as discussed in this FAQ.
Would be using Emotiva A7 for 7 Sonos Port zones with speakers, nothing else. Don’t know what U mean by tape loop.
