I have a large house with 10 Sonos AMP units in the rack.
4 of them keep dropping off the app and have red lights on them. We pull the plug and wait a minute and plug back in. They reappear. This happens a few times a week.

The appearance of red light on multiple devices in the same rack sounds concerning and I’m wondering if the Amps are perhaps operating outside their normal temperatures?
Operating Temperature | 32°F to 104° F (0° C to 40° C) |
Storage Temperature | -4°F to 122° F (-20° C to 50° C) |

Within 20 minutes of the issue possibly occurring again, I would submit a Sonos diagnostic report from the ‘Settings/Support’ area of the Sonos App
Make a note of the reference generated and perhaps post it back here.
Then, when available, contact/chat to Sonos Support Staff about the matter via this LINK and see what they can suggest to resolve the matter.
Make sure that all the devices are first showing in the Sonos App, before you submit your diagnostic report.
It’s a fan cooled rack with open vents on bottom and top and its in a cool basement.
They are on different shelves.
The other AMPs in the same rack, some right next to them, don’t have a problem.
I will go to the house and submit the diagnostic as soon as I can.
