What is the best way to connect a Port so I can feed my CD player, turntable and Sonos music into my hi-fi system AND link these sources to other Sonos speakers in the house?
Connection to Sonos Port

If you have a single Port and several analogue-out sources (e.g. turntable, CD, FM tuner) then probably the best solution would be to place a conventional analogue pre-amp (or integrated amp with pre- and/or tape-out) before the input to the Port.
IIRC, a Tape-out is preferred, rather than a Pre-out, because that gives you full-level line-out (not controlled by the volume control on the pre-amp) so you control the volume solely within the Sonos system.
Note that you won’t be able to listen via an integrated amp at the same time as the Sonos speakers, because of the small delay that Sonos introduced into playback as part of the design of the system.
