I cannot find a code at the bottom to add the amp to my system.

Is it possible to get a connection without the 6 code?

AMP and CONNECT:AMP are different products. HERE are PIN locations. AMP’s PIN can be difficult to read. Some of them are printed in small dark gray type on black in the recessed circular band. You’ll need very good lighting.

Following on from what @buzz mentions, I suggest using a phone camera to zoom-in and help read the code, that’s if you perhaps have that option available to you. It usually shows up clear in a photograph.
