I have a large, open space, living and kitchen area with 6 Sonos Architectural ceiling speakers connected to a Sonos Amp. I’m curious how some would recommend I wire them for the best sound. The room is a large rectangle. With L being the left channel and R being right, what would you do?

Wire them? I’d run individual wired from each speaker to the Amp’s location. hat allows you to connect them in different configurations to see what sounds best to you.

My first thing would be running the Amp in mono and having all speakers playing the same audio. That will give you the most even sound in the room.

From there you can try lots of different connections (banana plugs are your friend here) to see what you like best.

Set the Amp to stereo and try

You are not limited to symmetrical setups so explore all the options since it is just moving a few wires around.
