I have a Sonos Arc, Sub 3 and Two Sonos One Surrounds connected to my Sony TV through the optical cable.  I keep getting a clicking sound in the rear right surround speaker every time whatever I am watching switches to another view, e.g.:

when a newsreader switches over to a reporter - click; same when it reverts back

when a programme goes to advert - click - then the same back

It doesn’t matter if I’m watching terrestrial tv or SKy tv.

I have updated software, disconnected, re-connected, switched on and off, rebooted router, etc.  I have even swapped the rear right surround with the Sonos One from my bedroom and yet still the problem prevails.

It’s really very distracting and I’m listening out for it now.

Please can anyone help?

Thank you, in anticipation.

Mike

In your case, it maybe best to submit a system diagnostic after hearing the noise and post it’s reference back here and perhaps then contact/chat with the Sonos Support Staff via this LINK to see if the source is speaker related, or something being sent by the TV.
