CD/Turntable sound via connect: sound drops

Hi all,

When i’m streaming music from my old connect, which is connect to a cd player or a turntable, the sound is having some little drops. Just a fraction of a second every 10 secs orso.

I changed the channel in the sonos S2 app from 1 to 6 or 11. This changing did not help.

The connect is in the same room as my other sonos speakers.

Any advice on this would be great!

Adjusting the compression did not solve the problem.

I maxed out the audio delay on the connect, problem solved :)

Please remove the diagnostic reference ID from your post. Sonos views that as Personal Identifying Information (PII). 😊

It’s likely due to a slight amount of wifi interference . I’d probably adjust the compression settings for the line in, at least till you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.
