Apple TV 4K AirPlay to Sonos One problem

Hey people.

Im having a problem with my Apple TV 4K, the problem is that I set up everything perfectly, and everything worked flawless, I’m using 2 Sonos 1 gen2 as tv speakers, and I’m used to start up the Apple TV and my tv, then open the airplay setup, and change from tv speakers to sonos speakers, which are set up as a room, but after 2 days, my sonos setup doesn’t show up in the AirPlay menu anymore🤷🏻‍♂️ I can’t choose anything in there besides my lousy tv speakers.
Does anyone in here have a solution on that, it’s really making me think if this will ever work, I’ve tried to delete the app, reset the speakers and so on, but it doesn’t last for more than a day or two, and they are missing again😢 Heeeellllppp.

Here are some of the usual suggestions from Apple that may help to fix Airplay connections, so perhaps try these:

  • Reboot the router
  • Restart all devices and try to AirPlay again
  • Toggle off Bluetooth on the sending device, or if already off, try turning it on
  • Disconnect the sending device from any other Bluetooth devices (like speakers)
  • Ensure all are Connected to the same WiFi network
  • Reset your network settings on your iDevice
  • Update iOS, and speaker firmware/software
  • Move your devices away from other electronics

I´ll try everything once more today, I´ve already tried 90% of what you're writing, but one thing I haven't tried is to move my sonos, they stand just behind the tv and close to the Apple TV.

Hopefully this will be a longterm solution, I´ll be back ;)

I did everything as described, but a day later the problem was back, so I did start everything up from scratch everyday, until a week ago, when I moved the speakers longer away from my tv and Apple TV, and everything has worked ever since 👍
So if I just took the last line Ken wrote serious, it would have worked weeks ago 🙈 But thank u so much Ken, brilliant solution 🙏🏻
