Unlike Bose, you can’t group Sonos speakers in the same group with Alexa devices, which I own quite a few. I’m wondering if there are any plans or update role outs in the future, where the ability/capability become available. It’d be a cherry on top!

Sonos don’t issue a development roadmap, so the best you can expect here is a Sonos rep to say “we’ll add it to the future enhancement request list”.
And all ‘requests’ don’t necessarily get fulfilled. I have thought as to why (copyright infringement, licensing/fees, or financial cost/benefits), but no inside knowledge.
