Since the new app update I am no longer able to control my 3rd party subwoofer connected to my sonos amp. The menu seems to just have vanished from the new app (see attached image). Needless to say, ability to control the sub from the app and to adjust crossover was one of the main reasons I bought the amp. Will this be fixed?

Interesting.
i am experiencing subwoofer issues with the Amp too.
For me, the “Sub Audio” option IS in the menu but changing any of the settings doesn’t seem to change the sub audio at all.
Crossover or level.
Even if I turn the Sub Audio off, the sub still plays.
Although I can’t confirm whether this is only since the new app update as I don’t change it very often, I did notice the sub sounding loud when turning the TV on and then went into the app to adjust it and found the Sub Audio settings not to make difference to the sub sound.
Forgot to add, I'm on Android, which could explain the differences in the ui/menu. I also notices the sub sounds slightly distorted on a signal test, I wonder if the gain is now higher than what used to be.
I’m on iOS.
I noticed that my wife’s still on the older (orangey icon) app version, and this can still control the subwoofer audio just fine.
Same issue here on the new app with a Cambridge Audio sub, the switch toggle on/off and the level slider has zero effect on the signal and output of the sub.

If only we knew to keep the old app. The new (black) app is (of course) another example of how changing what works often results in problems, frustration, and a lack of function. I have an Amp, and third party SVS subwoofer will not work since the new app. SVS has a way to control settings with it’s app., but not w/Sonos Amp.
If only Sonos can fix this soon and I hope they add proper sub control functionality and more EQ settings to at least make the upgrade meaningful.
Wishlist. Subwoofer crossover that doesnt highpass the speakers or low pass the sub.
A 10 band EQ that can be accessed from the volume control like back in the day…
Maybe we are dreaming...
Searched for my old Android phone, installed an older version of the app and could control the Sub. The crazy thing is that I now can even control it with the current version of the app on iOS again!
Don’t know what Sonos does here…..
Sub controls seems back on android. I did some testing and found that crossover and on/off toggle work. The level slider seems to have no effect.
Subwoofer on/off toggle still not working, nor is the sub level slider. Saying that this is getting a bit annoying would be an understatement: everything was working fine before the app update. How long do we have to wait before _basic_ functionalities such as subwoofer control are restored?
Issues fixed now. Subwoofer control is finally back to normal.
