Brand new Sonos AMP. Hardwired by ethernet.   System audio speakers and active hub. Speakers have been working flawlessly for 5-10y.  Playing either Spotify / Line In / Arc in, and amp shuts off after some minutes, red LED blinking.  The SUB-output continues to play, so it’s not a network/streaming issue. Trippled checed speaker wiring. Checked speakers with multimeter and they both read 4.1-4.2 Ohm.

What model speakers? If the speaker wires pass through walls, be sure to check the resistance to building ground.

System Audio 1550. 2 meter qualty cables in open space.

Led blinking RED-WHITE.  Cuts off at any levels. Played at 5% for 4 minutes and speakers outputs muted. Sub continues forever.

Is the Amp in open space? Have you submitted a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it?

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Very open space, and scandinavian winter at the moment so no issues with cooling 🙂.   Just ended a chat with support and they confirmed “amp fault” after looking at diag report. So looks like I’m going back to store tomorrow….
