adding sonos port to play turntable

Hi, I currently have a Sonos Beam 1st gen connected to a tv that works fine. I also have a House of Marley turntable that I’d like to listen to through the Beam by adding a Sonos Port (which I’d have to buy). Would that be possible and would I still be able to have the tv audio coming out of the Beam when I watch tv? Thanx, Matt

Yes.  If the turntable is not equipped with a phono preamp, you would need to purchase an external one.

Thanx man! Would I need the Sonos Port to be plugged to the Ethernet cable or can I use the wifi connection? (the router is not where the turntables are)

No need to use Ethernet, Wi-Fi should be fine.
