12.1 update wiped all products and preferences wont connect to WiFi and wont submit diagnostics

Before you call in, try wiring a single device to your router with an Ethernet cable, and see if that works. If not, given your situation, a phone call may be easiest.

My one speakers also don’t want connect to wifi after update to 12.1

Yeah I will call. Wired works of course. Wifi is the problem

I wonder if this is related to the (so far not very well publicised) new ability for certain speakers to connect to the 5GHz WiFi.

Do you have separate SSIDs for the two bands?

And to the OP - if options are missing then you may have updated app but not system, or vice versa.  Do another ‘check for updates’.

ALL updated. App AND speakers. No separate ids. 2.4 ABG 5 ghz enabled all worked  just fine before update to 12.1
