I now have two sets of outdoor speakers and a Sonos amp but I’m not sure where to put the amp. Obviously it would be easier to hook it to the speakers if it was outside, but I’m not sure it can withstand the elements.
Where do you recommend I put the amp? Where do others put it?? Thanks for your help!
You can always put the Amp in a weather-proof enclosure outside, or run the cables from the Amp indoors to the speakers outdoors.

I’d put the Amp inside where it is protected from temperature extremes and wet.
Use some plastic electrical conduit out to the speaker locations and run the speaker cables in it.
I’d put the Amp inside where it is protected from temperature extremes and wet.
The whole point of using an amp driving speakers that do not need mains power is to do just this. You just have to then make sure that the speakers are meant for external use and the wire terminations at the speaker end are well shielded from rain.
