Hello,
If you'd like to play your turntable's audio through Sonos, it'll need to be connected to the Line-In port(s) on a Sonos player. The PLAYBAR has an optical line-in port that is used for TV audio and the SUB does not have a Line-In function. You could use a SONOS CONNECT in order to plug the turntable in to Sonos and stream that audio to any and all Sonos players on your network. The Line-In port on a PLAY:5 or a CONNECT:AMP would also work.
You can find some more information on how Line-In works with Sonos in this FAQ.
Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help.

Please note that many turntables have an "Phono Output" which is not the same as "Line". In this case you need an extra pre-amp to correct the signal. The turntable must have "line-out" for the proposed solutions will work.
Thx. I hadn't considered that.
This blog sorted me right out ' How to listen to vinyl on sonos ' - These guys know they're Sh*t about Sonos ! https://www.smarthomesounds.co.uk/blog/faqs/how-to-listen-to-vinyl-on-sonos.php
Hi All,
Coming to this thread a bit late but there is another way to listen to Vinyl through SONOS that no-one seems to have explored...and its a pretty simple option!
The PlayBar plays whatever comes out of the TV...so connect your vinyl player to the TV using output socket on TV (Either AV or headphone jack converter), select the input mode on your TV and start playing. You can listen to the 'TV' in any room et voila! Vinyl through your TV and into SONOS

To listen to your turntable without connection to the Connect Sonos module. Please have a look at the brand new "Trntbl" which connnects directly to SONOS as well :
