Hi there, geezfab. Thanks for posting. Happy to help in any way I can. Could you tell us a little more about how you are using the CONNECT:AMP? For instance, if you are using this CONNECT:AMP to power surrounds, the Subwoofer out will not function. Read more about this here.
If not, I would recommend giving our support technicians a call. They can do some troubleshooting in real time and replace the unit for you should the need arise. Our contact information can be found here. Additionally, I would test the Subwoofer with another audio source, just to make sure there isn't a problem with the speaker itself.
Thanks again!

The links you posted are not working, can you repost with working links? I have a Velodyne sub connected to the sub out on the Connect AMP and it's simply not working, need help troubleshooting. thx!
Try this link to trouble shoot: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/2923?language=en_US Also, you might publish more info about your setup with the Connect Amp such speakers being used along with the sub.
Cheers!
See this working link below that I believe Keith N. was referring to in his earlier post ...

Take particular note of the second bullet point shown under the heading of 'General Guidelines' in that support article.
thx. I do have sound on regular speakers, just nothing on the sub. I have my home in-wall speakers hardwired to the back of Connect amp and they work just fine. and then I have a Velodyne sub connected, and it's not emitting any sound. The sub works when I plug into a different source. any ideas?
Is it a 'powered' sub and have you switched it on? ... see this link:

It looks like the Amp should detect it as soon as it is powered on and should set the crossover frequency automatically to 80hz too.
