Hello,

I am considering adding a Sonos Connect (not Connect AMP) to my Sonos setup at home.
It should output using the analog RCA to a pair of ROKIT 4 G3 (http://www.krksys.com/krk-studio-monitor-speakers/rokit/rokit-4.html)

I was wondering if it would work? I know that the Rkit is powered, but the Connect is meant to be attached to a receiver and not directly to speakers.
Any idea?

Thanks

Cannot see any issue, just a case of getting the Phono to XLR cable and then using the varible output setting on the connect so you have a volume control.

Quite a few users on here have powered / active speakers.

Thanks Belly M,
actually the ROKIT 4 G3 has both Phono and XLR input. My idea is to connect my sound card (used for music production) to the XLR input and Sonos Connect used for music listening and extra Zone to the Phono input.

I will get the both and give it a try

The phono input is probably expecting differe3nt signal levels than your Sonos will be sending as well as containing some signal equalization circuitry that you don't want.
