Okay I'm just letting everybody know I just got off the official Sonos website and Sonos will not hook up to Roku even through the string bars HDMI arc so they're telling me I almost paid $700 for a Sonos subwoofer I'm glad I didn't

Sorry, no idea what this means:

even through the string bars HDMI arc

Sorry I meant Roku stream bar pro

The Sonos Sub is for connecting to Sonos hardware only, it’s a proprietary system.

Can you break that down to normal words 😆 😂 😂 I'm not real tech suave

The ROKU should be plugged into the TV and the TV’s HDMI ARC or HDMI eARC port connected to the SONOS.

You cannot connect the Sonos Sub to the Roku stream bar pro, incompatible systems.

I’m really confused by this thread. The “official Sonos website” says you can’t hook up a Sonos Subwoofer to a Roku Playbar, so you didn’t buy the Sub. And yet you seem annoyed. Surely that’s why info is put on web sites: to inform buyers of products’ capabilities and limitations.
Or am I mis-reading your thread and you’re actually congratulating and thanking Sonos for the information their web site provides?
