Does anyone know if the AMP creates a phantom center channel for 2.1 music such as from a streaming service from Apple TV?

Although my AMP is connected to my TV music quality is most important to me.  I’m using my AMP with ATV, Revel Concerta 2 speakers, and Sonos sub.  I would hope the Amp is smart enough to pick up 2.1 stereo and not create the phantom center except for movies.

If the source is 2 channel stereo, you will get 2.1 out of an Amp/Sub.  So unless the ATV is remixing into 5.1, you should get 2.1.
