Hi Looking to buy the new play ONE speakers to add to my playbar and play base for surround sound. can I mix the play ONE and the play 1 together ??

Not using Sonos' software, no. The speakers are too dissimilar in tone for Sonos to want you to do that. However, there appears to be an app called Sonosequencr that does allow you to pair dissimilar Sonos speakers. You could potentially then pair the Sonos One and PLAY:1 and use them as surround speakers.
