Physical wall mount volume knob

New hardware idea: I would love an attractive, wireless physical volume knob that could be wall mounted with screws, or just attached to a piece of furniture with double sided tape. The knob would be configured to control volume on one or more locations. For instance, I have ceiling speakers in the bathroom. Would be nice to crank the volume or mute it with this hardware.

I would also love to have a hardware wireless volume controller. Whenever I turn on the radio too loud, it's not good to spend 10+ seconds in the app doing steps to lower the volume

No volume control, but you may be able to customise a long and short press..

Wait for Alexa integration then you will be able to turn the volume up and down by vouce control.

Or

Buy an old Sonos CR100 remote, but lifespan / compatibility with future Sonos updates looks shaky.
Sonos should make this.
$200. for Senic is crazy.

You could mount an old ipod or such and have locked to Sonosequencer with various options.

I’d love to see Sonos make something like this too. I often need to turn the music down quickly and I find voice doesn’t work that well especially if the music is loud and phone or harmony remote takes too long. There’s definitely a market for this.

The nuimo control from senic is pricey, but sounds like exactly what your talking about (you can stick it to the fridge with magnets or mount it on the wall). Nice grouping features and the build for the volume ring is phenomenal quality.
