The regular sonos connect has an optical connection, which I believe I could use towards the LG soundbar. However, I’ve got a sonos connect amp, which I don’t understand if I can get to work together with my TV.

Does anyone know if by using any kind of adapter or anyhow be able to connect the two units.

to be able to play the sound from the TV through Sonos speakers.

TV has only hdmi and optical output.

What are you trying to accomplish.

The connect:Amp has speaker level ouputs (connect up to 4 8ohms speakers)
It has a subwoofer crossover built in and subwoofer output (non-amplified)
It has a Sonos input that allows you to input any analog source into the Sonos ecosystem.
and of course Ethernet ports
