I am trying to replace my Connect Gen1 with a Gen2. (I do not want the Connect amp, just the Connect) Looking through the used offers on a auction site, none of them say Gen1 or Gen2. How can I tell its a Gen2 ? Would the serial number help ?

First 4 numbers of he serial are the Year/Month of manufacture (YYMM). Anything after year 15 is modern.
