i currently one a play 5 and play 3 and will probably be buying a Sonos sound bar very shortly but my question is ….
id like to buy a radio or small receiver (?) nothing fancy, which would work with my current sonos speakers . Any suggestions to point me in the right direction?

Why not add a service such as TuneIn or MyTuner in the Sonos app? Then stream the station you want to play to your speakers.
Anything that offers a Line-Out connection will plug into the Play 5.
Have you tried the Sonos and other’s radio stations options? We found we were happier streaming than playing off-air stations here.
