Hi everyone. In your opinion, is it possible to connect a CD player and a turntable to the Play 5 via a switch or switch?

You can certainly connect both of those to one Play:5 with an input selector switch. You'll need an external pre-amp for the turntable if it doesn't have one built in. To connect to the 3.5mm jack on the Play:5, you'll either need a switch with a 3.5mm output jack, or an RCA-3.5mm adapter cable if the switch only has RCA jacks.

No, you can only connect an external audio source to the Play 5 with a 3.5 mm stereo audio plug.
