Amp Connection to Denon receiver

My Denon 4400h has a HDMI output to feed Zone2 with both audio and video. Can I use that connection to feed the Sonos Amp using the HDMI input even though the output is audio and video and not specifically ARC.

No. Amp requires an HDMI-ARC input to connect to (usually on a TV), not a plain HDMI output.

You could always connect the Denon via RCA, but it would be stereo not 5.1.

This is also the Arcana adapter from HDFury which would create an HDMI-ARC (and eARC) signal for the Amp if the TV can’t.
